Although Peter has worked with various media, the artist is partial to the medium in which his first two works were created – Cyathea Arborea.

Cyathea Arborea is a small family of tropical and sub tropical plants with seven generations and approximately 350 species dating from the Jurassic Period. The tree fern has a tall erect stem covered with fibrous roots and topped with a palm like crown. The fern flourishes in volcanic regions.
